About this release
Wildflower brings together Joanne Robertson’s intimate guitar and voice recordings on Escho. Originally released in 2016, the album places her singing within spare, reverberant arrangements, with a loose feel that connects folk songwriting and understated rock.
Produced by Kool Music and recorded at Islington Mill in Salford, it features Paddy Shine on drums for ‘The Motor’ and ‘You Hear Me Go’. This LP follows the ten-track vinyl sequence, from ‘Late At Night’ to ‘Dance With Me’, including ‘Wild Hearts’, ‘Wildflower’ and ‘There & Here’.
