Joni Mitchell wrote and produced Blue, recording her fourth studio album at A&M Studios in Hollywood in 1971. Released by Reprise that June, its ten songs include Carey, California, River and A Case of You. All I Want opens the record, with the title track closing the first half and The Last Time I Saw Richard bringing the album to an end. This 180g gatefold vinyl edition presents the original ten-track programme, placing its familiar songs alongside Little Green, My Old Man and This Flight Tonight.
