About this release
Julian Sanza and Lafrench Toast rework Seven Days & One Week for the second vinyl release on We Shine In The Darkness. The track revisits B.B.E.’s 1996 recording, retaining its recognisable synthesiser sequence while introducing a slower groove and warm drum patterns. The result connects the original’s trance melodies with a house and nu-disco setting. Mad Vibes occupies the reverse, moving towards a lower-slung post-disco rhythm with moody synth lines and distant vocals. Both sides focus on melodic detail and sustained grooves, bringing the collaborators’ approach into two distinct arrangements.
