About this release
Kaidi Tatham follows An Insight To All Minds with a twelve-track album for First Word, moving between broken beat, jazz, boogie and hip hop. The Easy Access Orchestra joins the title track and 'We Chillin’ Out', while Robert Mitchell appears on 'Sooretama'. Shorter pieces sit alongside more developed arrangements, from the string-led opening 'Mystery Solved' to the closing 'Mind Yourself'. As a keyboard player and producer closely associated with broken beat’s development, Tatham brings both instrumental detail and a dance-music sense of rhythm to the record. This LP presents the full album across two sides.
