About this release
Kamma & Masalo launch Brighter Discs with a new setting for Renée Mohannon’s vocal from a Joe Smooth production. The duo writes fresh instrumentation around the licensed performance, connecting the emotional lift of the original with its own house sound. The Club Mix gives the voice a full, uplifting arrangement, while the Radio Mix presents a shorter version. On the reverse, the K&M Unity Dub strips the track into a darker, percussion-led workout. The label grows from the duo’s Brighter Days parties, carrying their emphasis on shared dancefloor experiences into a release that offers contrasting approaches to the same vocal.
