About this release
Baker Lou and Jubi Leigh introduce Keep Off The Traxx with Cue It. Mix It. Blended Vol. 1, a four-track EP informed by nineties UK house and garage. Slow Down opens with vocals, synthesiser hooks and an acid line connected to early progressive house. Mind The Gap follows with chopped vocals and a garage influence. On the reverse, Brain Dance returns to acid with melodic progressions, while That Noise takes a more psychedelic progressive route through strings and layered textures. Written and produced by the duo, the debut presents two tracks on each side of a 12-inch, with mastering by Time Item.
