Keith Mansfield - Vivid Underscores

Keith Mansfield's Vivid Underscores is a 1977 KPM library album built from synthesiser textures, funk rhythms and compact dramatic themes. High Velocity sets the pace with horns and wah-wah guitar, while Dawn Of Aquarius and the Trucking Company variations show how much character Mansfield could draw from a repeated idea.

Short cues sit alongside longer pieces across the seventeen-track programme, ending with Perpetual Motion. For this Be With Records reissue, Simon Francis remastered the audio from the original analogue tapes and Richard Robinson worked on the sleeve reproduction. The result preserves both the musical sequence and the album's visual identity.
