About this release
Keith Rowe’s “Living My Life” is presented in two alternative dubplate mixes from the Black Ark, recorded in the mid-1970s with Lee “Scratch” Perry. Part of Studio 16’s Black Art Dubplate Style series, the release revisits the singer’s work through different treatments of the same song. One mix occupies each side, placing the attention on Rowe’s vocal performance and the production surrounding it.
