About this release
Hasta El Cielo reworks Khruangbin’s second album Con Todo El Mundo through a dub lens. Bass, drums and guitar are given more space, with echoes and textures drawing out different details from the original recordings. The trio’s established blend of soul and psychedelia remains recognisable, but the emphasis shifts towards the rhythm section and the atmosphere around each phrase. The ten-track album runs from With All The World to the title track, with a separate seven-inch adding Scientist’s dub mixes of Rules and Cómo Te Quiero. This Night Time Stories edition includes the LP and the accompanying two-track single.
