About this release
San Francisco producer King Most and Sweet Breeze Sound founder Marc Meistro split the label's third release. Money In The Bag assembles dub-soaked samples, echoing electronics and body-popping drums into an electro and proto-house cut with an early-1980s feel. On the reverse, Like A Moth To A Flame takes a darker, slower route through sparse analogue textures, midtempo house rhythm and sultry sampled vocals. The contrast gives each producer a distinct side of the record while keeping both rooted in sample-led dance music. Marc Meistro mixed both tracks, with mastering by DMA Audio.
