About this release
Klarky Cat's Gumbo returns to Toko with the original title track, Custard Gannet and the Blooty Mix of Gumbo. First released in 1997, the record connects the spacious textures of UK deep house with the rhythmic focus of early tech house. A firm low end supports smooth, open synth sounds, giving the music a balance of physical groove and atmosphere. This reissue keeps the three-track sequence together.
