About this release
Kojey Radical turns inward on Don’t Look Down, a 16-track second album that follows 2022’s Reason To Smile. The East London rapper reflects on growing older, changing relationships and the pressure of working out where life goes after early ambitions become reality. Conversation sets that reflective tone over a disco-influenced beat and gospel choir, while Rule One brings Bawo into the picture. Across the album, guests include MNEK, Cristale, Col3trane, Jaz Karis, Ghetts and Chrissi. Golden-age hip hop, disco, grime, jazz and ska feed into its musical range, giving those personal stories a varied setting. This Atlantic edition is pressed on transparent blue vinyl.
