About this release
Kraak & Smaak – Velvet Seas Remixed revisits the Dutch trio's 2025 album with seven new versions on vinyl LP through Boogie Angst. Kraak & Smaak's blend of funk, disco and electronic soul is reshaped by an international cast of producers while retaining the warm, analogue character of the original record.
Yuksek, Diogo Strausz, Ray Mang, Anoraak, Harvey Sutherland, Sound Support and Stirmouth move the material through French touch, Brazilian disco-funk, nu-disco and contemporary club music. The result is a varied remix album designed for both home listening and the dancefloor. Catalogue number BA150V.
