About this release
Kyoko Koizumi’s Fade Out brings Haruo Chikada’s 1989 production into a four-version collection spanning Japanese pop and house. The original receives mastering by Kentaro Kimura at KIMKEN STUDIO, alongside a LUNASUN remix by Chikada and OMB. Soichi Terada contributes a previously unreleased remix, while the Moody Strings Mix returns to Hiroshi Fujiwara’s work for a 1990 radio remix project. Together, the versions trace the song’s movement between kayōkyoku and club music, from its early association with the Shibaura GOLD scene to later reinterpretations. U/M/A/A presents all four tracks on this production-limited vinyl edition.
