About this release
Late Nite Tuff Guy's Tuff Cut #4 brings two disco and funk reworks into a three-track twelve-inch selection. Think Of U revisits Chic's I Want Your Love on the first side, keeping the focus on the song's disco character. That's A Groove draws on Tom Browne's Funkin' For Jamaica and appears in two versions on the reverse: the LNTG Full Vocal Mix and LNTG Funkin' Remix. The pairing gives the two source recordings three treatments, connecting disco vocals with a funk-led groove. This Tuff Cut edition has hand-stamped labels and presents the complete three-track programme.
