About this release
In Daytona Yellow places Leon Vynehall’s own voice and lyrics at the centre of his third album. Following Rare, Forever, the record explores vulnerability and the freedom of letting go of perfection, bringing electronic production into a songwriting framework informed by pop and R&B. Guest voices include POiSON ANNA on Mirror’s Edge, TYSON on Scab, Jeshi on Whip, Beau Nox on Cruel Love and Chartreuse on You Strange Precious Thing. Life Is Not Enough opens the ten-track sequence, with New Skin / Old Body bringing it to a close. Ooze INC presents the complete album on a single vinyl LP.
