About this release
Logg brings Leroy Burgess and Patrick Adams together for a Salsoul album first released in 1981. Burgess' writing and vocals meet Adams' production in six tracks that connect disco, boogie and soul, with synthesised bass and gospel-informed harmonies central to the sound. (You've Got) That Something opens the record, followed by Dancing Into The Stars and Something Else. The second side moves through I Know You Will and Lay It On The Line before Sweet To Me closes the album. Be With Records' vinyl reissue presents the original six-track programme, giving this collaboration a clear place alongside both musicians' wider work.
