About this release
Floating Memories introduced Groove Culture Deep with three Luca Olivotto productions built around deep house rhythms and melodic detail. Maybe occupies the first side, combining an energetic beat with an old-school house feel. On the reverse, Floating Memories layers synthesizer melodies, pads and stabs over a driving rhythm. Dark Flow closes with sweeping chords, brief vocal fragments and a gentler atmosphere. The EP brings the Berlin-based producer's different arrangements together without leaving its central house sound, moving from the direct groove of Maybe to the deeper textures of the second side. GCVDEEP001 presents the complete three-track programme on one twelve-inch.
