About this release
Mac Mathunjwa’s Give Us More Love brings jazz-funk to a twelve-inch single in the LL series. The full-length recording stretches over twelve minutes on the A-side, giving the instrumental arrangement room to develop. On the reverse, the Short DJ Friendly Edit ’25 brings the same piece into a more compact form of just over six minutes. The two versions provide different ways into the track, retaining its jazz-dance character across the extended original and shorter edit. Released through Unknownunknown, the record pairs both treatments on one disc.
