Maceo Plex joins Radio Slave’s Rekids with Monster, a three-track EP moving between electro, techno and broken rhythms. ‘Flute Jam’ opens with broken beats, understated chords and drifting vocals, building scale through broad synth lines and textured bass. It sets the scene for an EP that keeps melody close to its club-focused production.

‘Baby Monster’ features Baby Monsta’s vocals within an electro-techno arrangement, pairing animated chords with a fizzing low end. ‘Cold Flow’ closes the record with sharp breakbeats and processed, trap-influenced vocals. Across all three cuts, the Ellum Audio and Lone Romantic founder brings a cinematic, sometimes melancholic character to the rhythms. Rekids presents the complete EP on 12-inch vinyl.
