About this release
Make A Dance's El U Vee EP moves through four club tracks with different electronic influences. Cool Girls opens with Italo arpeggios, gated snares and vocal samples before the title track brings Latin touches into a house arrangement. Ooh Yeah takes a more percussive approach on the second side, while No Way Out closes with acid and new-beat influences. Released on the London duo's own M.A.D Records, the EP connects those styles through a dancefloor focus rather than settling into one narrow sound. This twelve-inch presents the original four-track programme, with two cuts on each side.
