About this release
Mar De Novo’s Last Disco on Earth EP moves from modern disco and bass-heavy house into more spacious downtempo territory. The title track combines a substantial groove with playful melodies and glitchy production, before Over There introduces a rolling bassline and sudden interludes. Uncanny Valley opens the B-side with dreamy strings and an unhurried feel. Reflection brings guitar, piano and haunting vocals into a calmer arrangement, while Find Love closes with a Balearic mood. Released through Winding Road Records, the EP gives its club-focused opening room to unfold into a more reflective second side.
