About this release
Mark Broom moves between house and techno on the Touch EP for Rekids. The title track pairs a nostalgic vocal with a disco-house groove and a jackin' feel, while Eyes works a looped sample through filters to build tension. The reverse turns towards tougher material: MXM centres on a driving rhythm and circling machine textures, followed by Don't with its forceful drumline and sharp stabs. Following his Showtime EP, the record brings Broom's sample-focused house approach and more percussive techno into one release, with two tracks on each side of the 12-inch.
