About this release
Cruise Music Vinyl Jams Vol XIV brings together Mark Funk, Danny Cruz, Makito and Filth & Smell for four cuts of funky house and disco house on 12" vinyl. Filtered loops, warm grooves and soulful touches give this Cruise Music sampler a sunny feel, with enough range for DJs moving between laid-back warm-ups and busier dancefloors.
Mark Funk opens with Never, Never, followed by Makito’s Heavy Vibes, Danny Cruz’s Sugar and Filth & Smell’s Panama Sweet Spot. Across the record, vibraphone-led deep house textures and sax-driven funk sit alongside the more direct club grooves. A useful selection for house sets that leave room for melody and a little disco warmth.
