Masayoshi Takanaka - T-Wave (Clear Orange Vinyl)

Masayoshi Takanaka's T-Wave captures the Japanese guitarist's bright, melodic fusion sound across eight tracks. Originally released in 1980 as his sixth studio album, it moves from the alarm-clock opening of 'Early Bird' to the sunlit funk of 'My Secret Beach', keeping his fluid guitar playing at the centre of the arrangements.

This Japanese reissue uses high-resolution transfers from the original master tapes, remastered and cut by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios. Pressed on 180g clear orange vinyl, it presents the original album sequence, including 'Wild Mow-Mow', 'Crystal Memories' and 'Palm Street'. A colourful meeting of jazz-funk precision and the breezy mood associated with Takanaka's classic period.
