About this release
Anenoa builds Matias Aguayo's electronic songs around voice, rhythm and collaboration. Much of the album is sung in Spanish, with its communal feel shaped by performers from several musical scenes. Javiera Mena joins ¿No Ves?, IARAHEI and Camille Mandoki appear on La Heredera, and Girl Ultra contributes to Agua Que Corre. Daudi Matsiko and Barbie Williams share the final Anenoa piece, while Williams' backing vocals also connect songs across the album. The arrangements keep Aguayo's playful dancefloor sensibility, using an expanded group of instrumentalists alongside electronics. Serendeepity presents the eleven-track album here on black double vinyl.
