About this release
Mato and Ethel Lindsey continue Stix Records' Mellow Reggae Series with a version of Player's Baby Come Back. Lindsey's vocal sits over Mato's reggae production, carrying the original song's melody into a different rhythmic setting. The reverse offers Baby Come Back (Dub), giving the instrumental production room of its own. This follows the duo's version of Bobby Caldwell's What You Won't Do For Love, keeping the series' link between AOR, soul and reggae. The seven-inch pairs the vocal and dub versions, with one track on each side.
