About this release
Maurice Joshua presents a 2024 remake of Yvonne Gage's Garden Of Eve on M-Jay Records, with Moplen joining on remix duties. The release revisits a song originally produced by Donald 'Dee Bee' Burnside, bringing its disco and funk character into a new set of club versions. Joshua's Main Mix opens the twelve-inch, followed by Moplen's Main Remix. The reverse contains both producers' instrumental treatments, placing the backing arrangements alongside their vocal counterparts. The four-track package gathers the two approaches to Garden Of Eve together on MJ001V.
