About this release
Max Essa returns to Is It Balearic with two originals and contrasting reworks from Be.Lanuit and Coyote. Camel Night-Rate (Clear To The Ocean) combines a steady chug with dubby low end, shimmering synthesizers and bright eighties-style chords. Be.Lanuit strips the track back into a more serene, late-night setting, leaving room around its central groove. Love’s New Meridian turns towards a more melancholic, downbeat mood, its wispy pads softening the edges. Coyote’s Mellow Remix carries that atmosphere into a gently rolling finale, completing a record that moves between dancefloor warmth and quieter, reflective listening.
