About this release
Miche’s third With Love compilation follows the soulful thread of the series into jazz funk, modern soul and disco. Independently released recordings sit alongside Brazilian and Turkish selections, with Late Nite Music Band’s Sundance and Spectrym’s In Flight bringing the jazzier side into focus. John Simmons, Le Cop and New Way keep the emphasis on expressive vocals and warm grooves, while Carlos Bivar’s Amargo Amar adds a samba-funk turn. This sixteen-track vinyl programme includes Gülden Karaböcek’s Dokunma Keyfine Yalan Dünyanin, a vinyl-only selection, and comes across two black records in a gatefold sleeve.
