About this release
Clube Da Esquina brings Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges together for a double album that remains a rich starting point for exploring Brazilian music. First released in 1972, it moves between MPB, folk and psychedelic rock, pairing expressive vocals with arrangements that give each song its own character. 'Tudo Que Você Podia Ser', 'Cais' and 'O Trem Azul' set the tone for a record with plenty to discover across its four sides.
The 21-track sequence balances short sketches with more expansive songs, from 'Cravo E Canela' and 'Um Girassol Da Cor De Seu Cabelo' to 'Nada Será Como Antes'. This Transoceanica edition presents the collaboration on double vinyl: an album to settle into and follow from beginning to end.
