About this release
Born 2 Be Free brings five producers together for Low End Guerrillas Vol 1, moving between house, garage rhythms and bass-heavy club tracks. Mista Men's Corner sets nimble synth lines against garage drums, followed by Mella Dee's A Way Of Life and its rougher analogue textures. On the reverse, No Brainers' Not Again pairs bright percussion with a driving bassline, while Lvpica keeps Funky:Mission deeper and more restrained. Live From The Moon closes with the more atmospheric Parrot In The Studio. The five tracks share an emphasis on low-end movement while giving each producer a distinct place within the sequence.
