About this release
Mochakk’s ‘Da Fonk’, featuring fellow Brazilian artist Joni, receives an expansive Nervous Records remix collection across three glow-in-the-dark coloured 12-inch records. Marco Carola’s Bass Mix leads the set, joined by Mochakk’s Original Mix and OG Dub on the first record.
Confidence Man, DJ Gigola, Cinthie and Bronka reshape the track across the second disc. The final record highlights Brazilian producers, with a soulful interpretation from Solarce Brothers alongside remixes from DJ Fuzil, Classmatic and Deekapz & kLap. Eleven versions trace different routes through the vocal and groove that made the original a club fixture.
