About this release
Moontalk pairs the original Hot Line 84 with a Ben Sterling remix on this Planet X 12-inch. The duo’s version builds around a rolling groove, bent guitar phrases and vocal touches, using rhythm and texture to carry the track. Sterling takes the reverse into a darker setting, working with guitars and analogue synthesisers to bring an indie-dance influence to his reinterpretation. The two mixes give the same material contrasting treatments, from the direct movement of the original to the more hypnotic character of the remix. This Planet X edition is pressed on vinyl with a black and blue splatter effect.
Format: Black and blue splatter-effect vinyl 12-inch
