About this release
Motel Phantasma introduces its sound with Claptrap, a two-track EP on Razor-N-Tape 45. The title track combines electronic percussion and sharp synthesiser lines with Portuguese vocals, giving the A-side a direct club focus. Noude follows on the reverse, featuring Kaleta’s vocal hook in a more organic Afro-boogie setting. The contrast gives the debut two distinct moods while keeping rhythm and vocals at its centre. Presented as a double A-side release, the record pairs the production duo’s electronic approach with a song led by its guest singer. This 7-inch edition comes in a full-colour picture sleeve.
