The clear-vinyl edition of MK 3.5 brings together two distinct Mount Kimbie albums. Dom Maker’s Die Cuts places vocal collaboration at the centre, with James Blake, Danny Brown, slowthai, Reggie and Keiyaa among its guests. His Los Angeles production work feeds a mixture of hip-hop, R&B and electronic pop, while Kai Campos’ City Planning follows a more solitary path into tactile electronics and techno. Each member produces his own half of the release, allowing the contrast to run across two complete records. Warp’s double LP contains twenty-three tracks, including 'F1 Racer' and 'Zone 1 (24 Hours)'.
