About this release
Trouser Jazz brings together Mr. Scruff's jazz, funk and hip-hop influences across thirteen tracks. Originally released in 2002, the album was recorded largely at Andy Carthy's home studio with engineer Danny Evans, with contributions from Niko, Braintax, Seaming To and Sneaky. Come Alive adds Niko's soulful vocals, Vibrate features Braintax's rap, and Valley Of The Sausages combines flute, bass and Seaming To's voice. This deluxe twentieth-anniversary edition presents the album on blue and red vinyl, with Mr. Scruff and Airside artwork and a peelable trouser sticker revealing silver and gold foil details on the cover.
