About this release
Hypnotic Tango brings four versions of My Mine’s 1983 single together on Dark Entries. Stefano Micheli, Carlo Malatesta and Danilo Rosati formed the group after working as Ipnotico Tango, moving from experimental post-punk towards electronic pop. The song’s synthesizer bassline, shaped with a Roland TB-303 and echo, became central to its appeal in Italian and American clubs. This edition pairs the original 12-inch and instrumental versions with Frankie Knuckles’ 1987 Powerhouse Mix and the Hypnotic Mix. All four tracks were remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios, with original artwork and an insert featuring photographs and notes by Micheli.
Format: Remastered 12-inch vinyl with photo/liner-note insert
Label: Dark Entries
