About this release
Light-Years brings Nas and DJ Premier together for a full-length collaboration, continuing a partnership rooted in New York hip hop. Nas’s detailed storytelling meets Premier’s sharp drums, raw textures and stripped-back production, drawing on a musical connection developed over decades. AZ appears on “My Story Your Story”, while “It’s Time” credits Steve Miller Band. The album closes Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series, placing the rapper and producer’s shared approach at the centre of the record. This red vinyl edition presents the complete album in a gatefold jacket with a printed insert.
