Neurovision - Nightshift

Icelandic group Neurovision bring four electro tracks to Helena Hauff’s Return To Disorder label on Nightshift. Driving To Burgertown opens with squelching synth lines, tumbling melodies and crisp broken drums. Animal Flow follows with metallic textures and treated vocals, drawing a darker connection to post-punk. On the reverse, Lunar Cycling shifts towards brighter arpeggios and driving kicks, before Neurolab closes with layers of busy synth sequences. Across the EP, the group balance machine-like precision with sharply contrasting moods, from the opening track’s rhythmic bustle to the more melodic energy of the B-side.
