About this release
Niklas Wandt’s Mehr Phett brings intricate percussion and interlocking synthesiser lines to Viscera Transmissions. The title track sets a bright, playful tone before ‘Feuerwerk der Rhythmen’ combines modern drum programming with instrumentation that draws on earlier house sounds. ‘Subcutaneous Dance’ develops a web of synthesiser melodies, giving the reverse side a more immersive electronic focus. Eden Burns closes with a remix of ‘Mehr Phett’, reshaping its rhythmic material around off-centre tom patterns. Mastered by James Savage, the four-track 12-inch presents three Wandt originals and one guest reworking, housed in a full-colour sleeve.
