About this release
JKriv revisits Oscar Sulley & The Uhuru Dance Band’s ‘Bukom Mashie’ with two versions tailored to this seven-inch release. The A-side condenses his earlier eight-minute rework into the JKriv 7 Inch Mash, retaining its rhythmic focus in a shorter arrangement. On the reverse, the JKriv Acid Dub introduces 303 lines and live flute from Domenica Fossati of Underground System. Her playing adds another melodic voice to the rearranged groove, giving the dub a different character from the opening mix. JKriv handles the remixing and additional production for this two-track Razor-N-Tape 45 single.
