About this release
Ozobby Horn’s Born To Move brings together seven tracks from the Nigerian trio’s blend of funk, soul and psychedelia. Firm drums and substantial basslines provide the foundation, with fuzz guitar and analogue keyboards adding a rougher, more exploratory edge. We Are Getting On The Move opens the record, followed by Do The Shake In Music, Don’t Stop Formular and Happy Joe. The reverse moves through Hay! Mr. Man, Oh! Jah and Getting Into The World. Afrodelic’s reissue returns the album to vinyl, preserving a compact programme built around the group’s rhythmic drive and contrasting instrumental colours.
