About this release
Paranoid London’s Arseholes, Liars, and Electronic Pioneers brings Gerardo Delgado and Quinn Whalley’s hardware-led acid house into contact with a wide cast of vocal collaborators. Bobby Gillespie appears on ‘People (Ah Yeah)’, Joe Love on ‘Love One Self’, and DJ Genesis on ‘Up Is Down’, with Josh Caffe, Jennifer Touch and Mutado Pintado also contributing. The duo draw on early-1990s British progressive house while keeping the rough, direct character of their earlier records. This ten-track double LP combines those guest performances with instrumental pieces, presented in a gatefold sleeve with the album’s collage artwork.
