About this release
Peggy Gou follows Art Of War with a second EP for Rekids, pairing Jen High and When Round, They Go with a remix from Terekke. Jen High moves between a weighty bassline, wavering synthesizers and gentle keyboard melodies. When Round, They Go gives the drums a firmer presence, with acid phrases cutting through its shifting pads. Terekke opens out the latter track, turning it towards floating textures and a more spacious, jazz-influenced atmosphere. The three productions present two sides of Gou's early house sound alongside a contrasting interpretation from the L.I.E.S.-associated producer.
