About this release
Perro Bueno’s seventh volume pairs two funk-driven edits with contrasting tempos. TFOM opens with bold horns, Latin vocals and a moving bassline, giving the first side a bright, playful feel. SMPP slows the pace on the reverse, leaving more space between the heavy kicks for sharp brass and organic percussion. Raw vocals add a rougher funk character as the track develops. The pairing keeps the emphasis on the original performances while reshaping their grooves for dancing, with the change of pace bringing out different details in each arrangement.
