About this release
Peter Herbolzheimer’s Rhythm Combination & Brass brings its big-band jazz-funk to this Dynamite Cuts seven-inch. The Catfish places a Moog line and drum groove beneath a layered horn arrangement, while Head Egg picks up the pace on the reverse. Both tracks are drawn from live recordings, capturing the ensemble’s combination of brass power and rhythmic detail. The two-sided single puts those contrasting grooves together, with The Catfish on side A and Head Egg on side B.
