About this release
Pharoah Sanders' 1977 album returns in a deluxe two-LP set that pairs the original studio record with two live performances of Harvest Time. The studio programme features Sanders alongside Bedria Sanders on harmonium, guitarist Tisziji Muñoz and keyboardist Clifton 'Jiggs' Chase, among the ensemble. Its three pieces move from Harvest Time through Love Will Find A Way to Memories Of Edith Johnson. A second record presents the Middelheim and Willisau performances, each taking one side. Luaka Bop's embossed box includes a twenty-four-page booklet with photographs, archival material, interviews and a conversation with Sanders, placing the recordings within their history.
