About this release
Piero Pirupa and Shield return to a demo first recorded in 2011, completing I Like with vocal contributions from The Egyptian Lover and Paris Brightledge. The production connects Italo-disco influences with house rhythms and a prominent bassline, drawing different club traditions into the same arrangement. The Egyptian Lover brings his electro background to the collaboration, while Brightledge adds the melodic presence associated with his Chicago house recordings. The original and Club Mix are joined by an acapella, giving the voices their own space on the record. Rebirth presents this edition on black vinyl in its label sleeve.
