About this release
La Ragazza Dalla Pelle Di Luna presents Piero Umiliani’s score for the first film in the trilogy starring Zeudi Araya. Recorded at Rome’s Sound Workshop, the soundtrack moves between orchestral writing, pop melody and jazz musicianship, with contributions from Alessandro Alessandroni, Edda Dell’Orso, Franco D’Andrea, Gianni Basso, Oscar Valdambrini and Angelo Baroncini. The piano-led Pelle Di Luna introduces a recurring theme that frames the fourteen-track vinyl sequence. Mahé, Un’Isola Felice and Seychelles, Isole Dimenticate develop its evocative setting, while changing arrangements bring different shades to the score. This Schema reissue gathers the original album programme on a single LP.
